How to change the engine oil and filter on Subaru Legacy?

Oil changes should be regular if one is to care for the engine of his/her car because after a while, the oil in it becomes diluted and contaminated, causing premature wear out of the engine. When changing the oil filter and oil on your vehicle make sure that you have drain pan, rubber gloves, breaker bar/sockets and filter wrench available. You can also use rags or newspapers to wipe up spills. Hoist, ramps or jacks will allow you get under your car more easily. Find out where it is by draining some warm-up before removing an oil plug from an engine.
