Install the nut on the stud and tighten it to the specified torque, adding an additional 60 degrees for 2005 and later models until the cotter pin hole aligns with the slot in the nut, then install a new cotter pin. Finally, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the wheel lug nuts to the specified torque, followed by checking and adjusting the alignment if necessary.

Install the wheel and the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle back to the ground and ensure you tighten the wheel lug nuts securely. For safety and proper vehicle handling, it's crucial to have the alignment checked and, if necessary, adjusted.
