For knocking sensor electrical connector disconnection push release tab and separate these two halves. See how it is placed before taking off and make a marking on an engine block where this pigtail is found. Take out this knock sensor retaining bolt then pull out this knock sensor. To fit in a new knock sensor reverse back with previous steps ensuring that tightening torque amount is recommended by manufacturer for particular vehicle model.
